How LEOLURI Came to Be

Our family’s love for growing and collecting herbs to create natural, health-enhancing remedies has been passed down through generations. The name Leoluri honors the legacy of those who shared their wisdom with our founder, inspiring a lifelong passion for crafting natural products.

My name is Rimona. I am a granddaughter, daughter, mother, and above all, a human being—a soul on a journey toward wellness through holistic living. The love for growing plants and using herbs for their healing benefits runs deep in my family, passed down through generations. This family tradition of working with nature has inspired and guided my own journey into natural health practices, a passion that blossomed when I set out to create my own homemade, all-natural products.

It all began about five years ago when my teenage daughter asked if she could start using deodorant. Like many parents, I didn’t hesitate, and we went straight to the local store to pick one out. As I reached for the product, I was struck by its promise: 48 hours of protection from sweat and odor. Impressive, right? But then curiosity got the better of me, and I wondered—what exactly makes this deodorant so “strong”?

That moment changed everything. I turned the bottle over and found a long list of ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce: aluminum compounds, talc, triclosan, propylene glycol, and parabens. It dawned on me that something so seemingly harmless could, in fact, be harmful when used regularly. I couldn’t ignore the nagging question: why do we go to such lengths to stop our bodies from sweating—something that’s entirely natural?

A little research led me to a startling realization. While many mainstream companies claim their products are “safe” and “non-toxic,” anyone paying close attention to their bodies knows otherwise. The skin, after all, is our largest organ. It absorbs everything we put on it and distributes those substances throughout our bodies. The more I learned, the more convinced I became that these commercial products were disrupting the body’s natural processes and potentially harming us in the long run.

That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I began experimenting in my kitchen, determined to create a deodorant that would work in harmony with the body, rather than against it. The first few batches were simple—I stored the mixture in the fridge and applied it with my fingers. While it wasn’t perfect at first, I persevered. During the initial month of ditching store-bought deodorants, my body went through a detox, releasing years of absorbed chemicals. To my surprise, once the detox was over, my natural sweat didn’t smell nearly as bad as I had feared.

I learned something profound: sweating is not the enemy—it’s how our bodies regulate themselves. My goal wasn’t to block sweat but to manage it in a healthy way. The deodorants I now make act as dry moisturizers, designed to be used after a shower. With natural ingredients like zinc, tea tree, and rosemary essential oils, they neutralize bacteria safely and effectively. They don’t stop you from sweating, but they keep you feeling fresh for 8-10 hours, just enough to take you from one shower to the next.

From that point forward, creating all-natural skincare products became a passion. Much like cooking a homemade meal, I took pride in knowing exactly what went into my creations, and I’m excited to share those ingredients with you. There’s something deeply satisfying about crafting a product that not only feels good to use but is also good for you.

By changing my lifestyle and raising my standards for the products I use, I’ve seen improvements in my own health and that of my family. Now, I’m thrilled to offer these same benefits to others through my products—made with love, intention, and the purest natural ingredients, continuing a legacy that began with my family generations ago.
